Hydroxyproline assay
The hydroxyproline level was used to examine the content of collagen in the lung homogenates. The lungs were harvested 28 days after treatment and homogenized in PBS (pH 7.2–7.4). The supernatant was collected and aliquot after centrifuged at 3000 g for 15 min under 4 °C.The concentration of hydroxyproline was detected with Mouse Hyp kit (Jinma Biological Technology Co. Ltd., Shanghai, China) as the specification.
